Not much to report today .. here are the highlight:
Twestipal fever seems to have gone down .. still no one knows who is @muscattwestival .. and it doenst look like we will know anytime soon ..
as a result i am following and being followed by way more people than i think i can compute .. lets see how it goes .. will i get to stage where i do a tweep cleanup? like the FB cleanup i did last month?
pondered about adding amjad as a friend on facebook and then decided not to .. FB is going to remain for non virtual friends .. where twitter can be my virtual friend domain for now .. will these two worlds ever collide ? who knows .. miskeen george
my blog made it to 11 hits .. double digits is encouraging .. maybe i will continue to blog ..
no news from Junior or his Mother .. or even Uncle .. they will probably get back in touch tomorrow ..
still have to renew my passport .. but before that i need to take pictures
also have to renew my car mulkiya .. Allah yi3lam how much i am going to pay in speeding tickets this year ..
went to wadi khouz (pronounced like azaiba) .. there were a bunch of people washing their cars in the falaj .. other wise it was empty .. found a puddle and threw stoned in it for an hour with the kids ..
went and bought a wireless (wifi) USB adapter for my old mac only to find out that my iMac G5 does not support third party network adapters .. 12 rials wasted .. i almost bought an N one which was 32 rials .. thank god for my lawati genes .. i have to buy an original airport card or buy another airport express for this computer and connect it via Ethernet ...
And finally the street light infront of the house have been turned on .. they put in new lights but did not remove the old concrete slabs in the ground that used to hold the old ones ..
