now it seems that they guy that committed the hit and run... ran away. According to Junior and his Mother he has skipped town and took a flight to India on Saturday. They didnt even know he had committed a hit and run till the police called them on Sunday morning. This is when i went to the station to follow up. He had told them that he had parked the car and SOMEONE hit the car and ran away. He was the victim of a hit and run?!?!

And now this guy brings his mother with him everywhere and she's always almost in tears and trying to get me to let them go. Ana Aish Thanbi?! thats when i start to think that this whole thing could be just a big masra7iya (play) to get me to let them off. Is it really possible that this guy can Hit and Run and then leave the country? is it really that easy? what if he had killed someone (god forbid 6ab3an) is it really that easy to get away?

Today they had another guy with them. Now there is three of them and just me. Aish thanbi? Junior calls him uncle. They come to meet me at Bahwan's to get an estimate for the car. While we wait Uncle starts to talk to me. He runs a secret car workshop that does subcontract "car fixing jobs" for bahwan. I will fix your car, he says. Where is your workshop? i ask. Its a secret, he says. You really think i am going to give you my car to fix in a secret workshop that subcontracts to bawhan, I thought.

All they want to do is talk to me. The mother wants to almost cry while she talks, Uncle wants to fix the car for me, and Junior wants to tell me how much trouble he is in. I come very close to just telling them to leave me alone, but then, I need to get my car fixed. How much time is this going to take? So i start walking around the workshop pretending to look for someone. i look behind and they are following me. If they are trying to get me drop this case, they are doing a very good job trying. Especially, bringing uncle into the mix. He keeps trying to convince me that its cheaper. Which makes me think that they have a secret plan to make me pay for the repairs. Or does this guy really think he can convince me?

whats next ? once we get an estimate, they will have to pay and we can get the car fixed. will that happen tomorrow? will they bring someone else with them tomorrow? Aunti?
